Penni was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and currently lives in Provo, Utah. She is an avid reader, hiker, and loves learning new skills, most recently including sourdough bread making and 3D printing. Penni is a mother of five adventurous children and grandmother of eight adorable grandchildren. She studied botany at Ricks College and Brigham Young University and taught preschool for 10 years prior to working with Cabins for Cancer. She believes life is an opportunity to keep learning and make new friends. She loves star gazing in national parks and always keeps a glow-in-the-dark frisbee in the car at all times.
